with 

dbput("/var/lib/mailfromd/greylist.gdbm", greylistkey, time())

I am getting this error, or can't I use dbput with existing db?

dbput: mf_dbm_open(/var/lib/mailfromd/greylist.gdbm) failed: Operation failed

and with
dbdel("greylist",greylistkey)
dbput("greylist", greylistkey, time())

nothing seems to happen also no error, the greylist key stays unchanged when I view it with

/usr/bin/mfdbtool --list --format=greylist
