If you found it useful, then it probably should.  :-)  Seriously,
there’s no clear plan, but I add it to my to-do list of things we should
discuss.

BTW, the general approach taken in 1.9 is to be a more efficient Scheme
implementation, which should allow people to write more Scheme and
less C.  It may influence the way you integrate Guile in your software.
